📌 Prerequisites
An active Shopify store and admin privileges
On the Install app screen, click on Install
After installation, you have two options for the next steps:
Option 1: Setup with the help of our team
Option 2: Self-service setup
We recommend Option 2 only if you have a front-end developer available to assist you with styling the widgets, as this is typically necessary to ensure they align with your shop's theme.

Wait to be contacted by our support team, typically in the next working day after installation and you can let us know should you prefer our help with the setup.
Option 2: Self-service setup
Make a duplicate from your live theme
Go to Online Store > Themes and select Duplicate on your current live theme
Setup the widgets in the duplicate
You can add Aqurate widgets on the Homepage, Collection & Product pages, Cart & Cart drawer.
Below, please find our recommended setup:
✅ Homepage: Popular and/or New in store
✅ Collection page: Popular in category
✅ Product page: Alternatives, Frequently Bought Together & Bundle
✅ Cart & Cart Drawer: Frequently Bought Together

Access each area accordingly in the duplicated theme:
From the left side menu, select Add section or Add block, depending on the segment where you want to place the widget(s).
Under Apps, select the Aqurate app
In the newly added widget, you can select the recommendations type (products list source), and also adjust various design features.
For a more complex design setup, there is a custom CSS box for adding code:

Go to App Embeds
Activate Aqurate, then select the recommendations type & adjust the various settings as needed in the integrator
💡Please note that it might take up to 24 hours after the installation to see your recommendations from Aqurate.
Publish your new theme with Aqurate & activate the trial
After you finalised your widgets setup and styling, publish the new theme
Now you can activate the trial from the App section. Check all the boxes from the setup menu and then click on Start your trial.
On the Plans page, select the corresponding Plan based on your monthly orders, approve the subscription and you are done!
